Serves 4
INGREDIENTS:
4 tbsp. butter, melted
2 tbsp. flour
1 cup half and half cream
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. dried juniper berries
1 tsp. black pepper
1 lb. steamed spinach, shredded
METHOD:
Put butter in a pan. Add flour until a thick paste is formed. Slowly mix in cream, from a thin paste to a thin sauce.
Add garlic, salt, juniper berries, black pepper and black pepper. Heat gently, stirring continuously until thickened. Put steamed spinach on a serving dish. Pour over juniper sauce and serve hot with beef or chicken.
