With these basic staples, you can throw together quick and easy meals. Using foods from the list above are some examples. As shown, you can use these staples together to create a dish or to add to other dishes.
MAIN COURSE
Brown a pound of ground beef
Cook pasta as per directions on package
Drain ground beef and pasta
Add pasta to ground beef
Add can of Cream of Mushroom Soup
Add can of mushrooms
Use herbs to taste
OR
Cook pasta as per directions on package
Drain and run cold water over
Add Italian dressing
Season to taste from herbs
CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES
You'll use the flour, sugar, brown sugar, chocolate chips, vanilla, margarine and salt(recipes will be found in cookbook or on packages of chocolate chips).
A CAKE
Use the cake mix. You will also need butter, eggs, salt, oil or applesauce depending on choice, and a non-stick cooking spray for the cake pan. You will use the confectioner's sugar for the icing (simple recipes found in most cookbooks).
